Name: Kristen Nightingale
Pursuit: Kick-Start Grant - Squash
Kristen is a talented athlete who has represented her region since 8 year of age and her State from 11 years. Kristen at age 14 is the No.2 in Australia for the fifteen year old division. To retain her ranking involves substantial travel and it is both disappointing and frustrating for her to miss tournaments due to lack of finances and where she resides in Central West NSW. Kristen will use the grant money to assist her with travel and accommodation at the Nationals and Championship events in 2011 and is hoping to take the No. 1 ranking after Nationals in April. Kristen aspires to securing a Women’s World ranking.
