Pursuit: Girls and Womens' Empowerment Programs
Kate Row is passionate about youth engagement, education, girls’ and women’s empowerment, social enterprise, human rights, well-being and mental health. She has been involved with various organisations advocating towards these aims including as a current Young Ambassador for UNICEF Australia, youth mentoring, member of the Young and Well Youth Brains Trust, and establishing DiffAbilities Ed as a student of the School for Social Entrepreneurs Incubator Program.
Kate holds Bachelors of Science- Psychology and Arts- Political Science from the University of Queensland and is completing a Master of International Public Health. Aside from these interests, she enjoys travelling, playing tennis, swimming, the beach, spending time with friends and reciting the capital city of all countries as learned last year.
When did you start?
Career highlight or biggest achievement?
The opportunity of receiving a Queen’s Young Leader Award in June travelling to London and Cambridge for ongoing support and development being recognised to lead positive change in the Commonwealth.
What is your dream?
For all people to live full lives and realise their dreams throughout all world communities.
