Name: Ella Dungey
I’m 13 years old and I’ve been Diving for 5 years. My ultimate long terms goals are to represent Australia in the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the 2020 Olympic Games. I was awarded a place on the National Junior squad for 2013-2014. My dream is to place in the top 2 at the 2014 Australian Elite Junior Championships in Sydney this June. The FINA World Elite Junior’s are held every 2 years and in 2014 they are being held in Russia. So 2014 is a huge year for me. I have demonstrated commitment to my goal over the last 12 months by training 24 hours a week, 4 mornings. The Aim for the Stars grant will be a huge help towards affording expensive coaching and travel to interstate and overseas competition.
